Custom Lady Bugs

Here is another fun Custom Cake Pop order I recently did! A sweet grandmother called wanting the perfect Cake Pops for her 7 year old granddaughters birthday.  The granddaughters nickname is Lainey-Bug, so of course we had to make Lady Bug Cake Pops! They turned out so cute and little Lainey-Bug loved them!

Custom orders are a wonderful way to make someone feel extra special on their big day. Each Cake Pop is handmade, an original custom design, and made to order. Remember me for your next big event!

Custom Cake Pops

I am excited to share with you all a custom Cake Pop order that I just did. A sweet lady came to me with a special request for her son’s 19th birthday gift.  They are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) and he just received a mission call to serve as a missionary for the next 2 years in Portugal.  I am sure you have all seen LDS missionaries at one time or another in the cities you live in. They usually are on foot or bike wearing white shirts and ties, with black name badges on their shirt pockets. So that is the look I was going for with these Cake Bites!

They are a Triple Chocolate Cake Bite! Rich chocolate cake, creamy chocolate frosting, and hand dipped in chocolate candy coating! The ties and badges are handmade using candy coating.  The recipient loved the look as well as the delicious taste.  These were shipped out of state.

Natalie’s Cake Pops can be shipped anywhere in the US.  Think of me for your future Custom Cake Pop needs.  Easter, Mothers Day, and Graduation Parties are all just around the corner!!!

March Marble Madness

Not only Basketball involves Madness in March, but Natalie’s Cake Pops have gone MAD. Mad-Awesome, that is!!!

I have been having way too much fun creating these Marbled Cake Pops.  Making them marbled is such an elegant way to embellish these playful Pops and make them perfect for any occasion. Marbling allows you to custom make Cake Pops in any color scheme. Also, guaranteeing that whatever colors you pick will always produce beautiful Cake Pops.

Marbled Cake Pops would be a perfect choice for a Bride and Groom looking for the ideal Party Favors! They can use their wedding colors and wow their guests!

Marbled Cake Pops would be a perfect fit in any of the 3 style Cake Pop Bouquets I offer.  Also, they are great for baby showers, birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate gifts, holidays, bridal showers, and so much more!

Enjoy the March Marble Madness!

Cupcakes be Warned - Cake Pops are Taking Over!!!

Cake Pops are the next cupcake. Cupcakes are no longer the item that you sell for $.25 at your child’s elementary bake sale. You now purchase them for $3 to $5 as something fancy and hip. I believe that Cake Pops will be just as big, if not bigger, than the cupcake fad. I am not the only one that feels this way, recently in the Marriott School of Business Magazine, an article titled, Tempting Trends said, “Cupcakes be warned: your days as a top trend may be numbered.”

While the recipe is rumored to have originated in the South, these amalgams of cake, frosting, and chocolate are quickly rolling their way across the county. Cupcakes be warned: your days as a top trend may be numbered.

Tip: Put your willpower on alert—these little babies are 124 calories a pop and hard to resist.

"You're turning violet, Violet!"

Nothing says yummy like Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory! However, one thing Mr. Wonka did not have was Cake Pops! Too bad, so close to perfection!

Today I am sticking with the Pastel theme and featuring VIOLET! This spring color is a favorite and looks even better on a Cake Pop!

These Cake Pops are made of delicious yellow cake with vanilla frosting. They are hand dipped in white chocolate and violet chocolate melts, then sprinkled with Easter Nonpareils & white Nonpareils. The Cup Cakes are topped with a tasty Sixlets!

I am currently taking Easter orders: Easter Egg Cake Pops, Easter Cup Cake Bites, Easter Bouquets, Pastel Cake Pops & so much more!

Happy Birthday

This weekend I did a birthday party for an adorable 2 year old boy. His favorite thing is cars, trucks, or anything with wheels, so that obviously was the theme. I made a delicious Fondant two tiered birthday cake. The top tier was yellow cake with a lemon butter cream filling and the bottom tier was chocolate was a vanilla butter cream filling. Everyone loved it! I handmade the fondant, the road, the road signs, his name, and the polka dot boarder.

However, the party would not be complete without CAKE POPS! They followed the same car theme. The colors were blue, brown, and orange. Inside was yellow and chocolate cake. It is so fun choosing the perfect sprinkles and embellishing the top with a little car or stop sign. The toppers I did not make. I picked them up at a local craft store.

With a perfect cake and Cake Pops, you cannot go wrong! I decorated the rest of the table with pails full of candy, Goldfish crackers (what 2 year old doesn’t like gold fish?), and a 3 layered stand with Cake Bites! TOO cute!!!
